For the pointer going down after a while (hard to reach top of the screen) so that I need to reposition my hand higher to reach the top of the screen, I think it might* be because of the shape and muscles of our hand make different speeds to move our mouse up or down so that mouse acceleration is different. Reading reviews are useless because I already read Kinzu reveiews, where those guys only say that these mouses are good but I do not see any acceleration issues mentioned by them. I do not like the idea of buying expensive mouses not knowing the performance of that mouse. Issues with aiming or clicks etc which is present in almost every mouse. Spending around $20 for the Steelseries Kinzu v3 made me think twice about buying gaming mouses. Might be a fake one but it doesn't have this problem, the mouse only feels slow. For your info my Logitech mouse costed me around $3.5. Seriously I do not know why they need to put additional algorithms, pay additional programmers to program the acceleration stuff when it is often not accepted in the gaming community.

I found this after a while of researching :Įven steelseries admits that this mouse has inbuilt acceleration (can't be disabled, or maybe can if Steelseries decides to release firmware update but not likely). I tried my friend's Steelseries Rival and my ol' Logitech mouse (again) and I confirm that it doesn't have this problem. My friend has Kinzu v3 (same mouse) and I borrowed it from him, it has this kind of issue too. Do you have a solution? Or should I just learn to readjust often (if it is a common issue?) Do you find yourself lifting the mouse often or readjusting your hand grip in games? Have you ever played a game in which you don't adjust your hand or lift the mouse (at all) for around 5-10 minutes and still have a good grip?ģ. In osu the time to do the adjustment is usually when the song is on a rest, otherwise I risk losing combos.Ģ. Even though it's just a slight misalignment it can grow over time to a large misalignment. I really feel the difference between a 1000Hz mouse and 125Hz so I would still usually prefer my Kinzu for gaming.
But my logitech mouse has a low polling rate of 125Hz, which delays response times by 8ms (in Kinzu you get just 1ms). I think I have a logitech mouse, non-gaming, which doesn't really suffer from this issue.

For example to reach the top part of my screen I do not require extra effort but after maybe 2 minutes of playing without lifting the mouse I need to readjust my hand and/or lift my mouse so that it becomes comfortable again, or reaching the top of my screen requires me to release my full grip on the mouse. But after a few minutes of playing a game without lifting the mouse 'at all', I feel slight misalignment, as I need to move my hand a little bit upwards or else I can't fully hold my mouse anymore. I need to move my mouse fast, and my mouse has mostly no problems tracking them.
I mainly bought that mouse for osu ( if you don't know). It's a cheap and good(?) mouse with fast response times (1000Hz) and mostly without acceleration issues and stuff!īut I have a issue.
